Finding the right ring size makes all the difference. Whether you’re wearing your ring on its own or creating a stack, the right fit should feel comfortable and secure.
Not sure where to start? Here are two simple ways to measure your ring size at home.
Before you measure
Measure the exact finger you want to wear the ring on.
Measure more than once to make sure you get a consistent result.
Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot, as finger size can change with temperature.
Keep in mind that a wider ring can feel tighter than a thin ring.

01 MEASURE A RING YOU ALREADY OWNIf you already have a ring that fits the finger you want to wear your new ring on, you can use it as a reference. You’ll need: a ring that fits well + a ruler with millimetre measurements. 1. Place the ring flat on a table. 2. Measure the inside diameter across the widest part of the ring. Measure from the inside edge to the inside edge, passing straight through the centre. Do not measure across the outside or include the thickness of the band. 3. Record the measurement in millimetres. 4. Compare it with our ring size chart to find your closest size. 02 MEASURE YOUR FINGERDon't have a ring to use as a reference? You can measure your finger directly. You’ll need: a flexible measuring tape or a thin strip of paper + a ruler. 1. Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your finger, where you would normally wear your ring. Keep it comfortably snug, but don't pull it tightly. 2. Note the measurement in millimetres. If you're using paper, mark where the two ends meet. 3. Measure the paper against a ruler. Lay the strip flat and measure from the beginning of the strip to your marked point. 4. Repeat the measurement more than once to make sure you get a consistent result. |
What If You're Between Ring Sizes?
The width of a ring can affect how it feels on your finger. Wider rings generally feel more snug than thin rings, even when they have the same ring size.
Our current Row Ring and Row Heart Ring styles are 6 mm wide and 3 mm thick, so they have a more substantial feel than a very thin band.
If your measurement falls between two available sizes, consider how you want the ring to feel:
- For a more comfortable, relaxed fit: consider the larger size.
- For a closer fit: consider the smaller size, provided it does not feel tight or difficult to remove.
- If you are choosing a wider ring: remember that it can feel tighter than a thin ring of the same size.
If you are unsure, measure your finger again at a comfortable room temperature and compare your result with the size chart before ordering.
